This is how we're limping into the finish line, with some best and worst of the year action!
Gavin comes in with the best and worst cars he's driven this year
Mike talks best and worst he's seen at UMC this year
Brandon talks his best and worst moments of the year for him
And Dave brings us home with his best of the year.
Thank you so much for being with us as we figure out what we're doing. I think we've got something going here, and it would be awesome if you stuck with us in 2017.
As always, we have an Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook page, all of which you should check out. Feel free to head over to the site, and look back at the year we've just had. Feel free to tell us your best and worst of 2016 by dropping us an email: mailbag@camautomag.com.
We'll be back in 2017 with more podcasts, interviews, and possibly people calling in!
Ladies and gentlemen, it's the end of the year! And as such, we're kinda coasting. But we do have some news, and a full crew! Brandon is back, and we have pizza in time for the recording. On part one of our holiday rabmlefest we talk about
And probably some other stuff. Go follow us on all our social medias, and follow the hosts individually too.
Check back next week for the thrilling conclusion to the ramblefest, which includes our best and worsts of the year!
We've moved from the basement to the office! OFFICE WARMING PARTY!!!
We're down a Brandon this week, so we had to go to the bench and get Gavin "P Car" Pouquette. He's done stuff for us, Everyday Driver, and now is working on the Velocity show Bitchin Rides. He's also bringing beers to the office, and having one of the best discussions we've had. On this week's episode:
Just a heads up, we get kinda loud here and there. Blame the move to the office, and Gavin's uncontrollable... Gavin-ness...
Like what we're doing here? Feel free to spread the word! And also give us a follow on the social medias:
Follow Gavin too:
Welcome back, you beautiful people you. We're glad you're back, because we missed you. On this week's episode:
We'd love to hear from you. Drop us a line at mailbag@camautomag.com. Send us an email we really like, and you will win an ever growing prize bag! It's totally not full of stuff that's cluttering up the office...
Please subscribe, rate, and comment, and follow us on the social medias, if you haven't already:
We finally did it! After a few months of talking about it, moving the date around, and bailing at the last second (sorry), I sat down with most of the Take Luck drift team and got some answers to some hard hitting questions. Questions like: when did you start drifting? What would you drive if budget wasn't an issue? And how does one join the team.
Take Luck is Nick Stucky, Brandon Wicknick, David Curtis, Scott Bradshaw, Nate Omana, and Erik Brooks.

We're back! And some of us for the first time.
In this new, weekly, version of the CAMcast we have some co-hosts: Brandon Christiansen (contributor to Daily Derbi) and Dave Rawley (Ghetto Dave, Daviticus, the man who has worked out the logistics of your bad ideas) joining Michael. We do some introductions, talk some fashion, WEC, introduce you to the Taurus Challenge, and talk about The Grand Tour. We also have some beers and eat pizza.
I'm still working on the iTunes thing, but in the meantime you can subscribe via RSS. Or download the episode. Or just stream it. Either way...
We did it! We managed to cram 4 days of SEMA into 2, and not die in the process. We're a tad late in getting this up, but blame it on the desire to get the hell out of Vegas as quickly as possible and having to jump back into real life ASAP.
We talk about our two days at the show, what we saw, why the old rules for media need to come back, and our pizza.
Good whenever you see this! We (Joey and Mike) are down in lovely* Las Vegas for SEMA 2016! You may notice that we haven't had much in the way of coverage, and there's a good reason for that. That reason is covered in this podcast, along with some other stuff that we saw on our journey here.
By the time you hear this we'll have our badges, and will be getting you some sweet, sweet coverage of SEMA 2016. Until then, check out the Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and Facebook feeds for your SEMA fix.
He went from his parent's basement and a Porsche, to a corner office with a view of his sweet Nissan Leaf. He is Cole Powelson of Lyfe Motorsport, home of the fastest time attack R35 GTR in the world. How did he make that journey? What was the springboard to his success? He answers those questions, more, and we talk about how much we love Jose, because it's hard to not love the only Portuguese fella we know.
Follow Lyfe on Facebook, and on Instagram (@lyfemotorsport) and Snapchat (lyfe_motorsport). And while you're at it, check out their YouTube page for some behind the scenes videos from their Pike's Peak trips, HKS Speed Ring, and World Time Attack Challenge.
No guest this episode, but it's all good. Mike goes over the NASA Utah championship standings, and talks about some upcoming items.
Welcome back! We're so glad you came.
On this episode of the CAMcast we sat down with Derek Wolthoff of Makes & Models. He's been the driver of the R8 LMS, and now the Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo. He's also a father, husband, business owner, and (if he had evil aspirations) a poor man's Lex Luthor.
We chat about starting the GT3 revolution in the NASA Utah region, what it's like having a wife who's competing for championships herself, plans for the future, and we crack some jokes.
We met in his office up at Makes & Models, which is a place you should check out if you need to service your European vehicle or want to get into one.
After a long absence, the CAMcast is back! And we could not have picked a stronger foot to lead with.
Steven Costello is so much more than the soft spoken, Formula class NASA racer. In the decades he's been involved in motorsports he has gone from starry eyed dreamer, to running teams, to restoring historic cars, and practically every point in between. We sat down with him for a little over an hour, and got thirty plus years of amazing stories and insight in that brief time. We hope you enjoy this episode as much as we did bringing it to you.
